How Does Salt Electrolysis System (Salt Chlorine Generator) Works?

A small amount of salt added directly to the swimming pool makes the pool water slightly salty. This amount is called tear salinity, and varies between one tenth and one fifth of sea water.
Pool water is passed through an electrolysis cell added to the circulation system. During this time, a low voltage current is applied to the anodes of the electrolysis cell to produce disinfectant from the pool water.
This electrolysis process must be done precisely and the amount of disinfectant produced must be kept under control with Redox sensors.
It is important to keep the disinfectant produced within the pH range in which it is effective. This range is also important for the life of the anodes in the electrolysis cell.
Pool water should be measured with pH sensors and kept under control by adding pH reducers with dosing pumps when necessary.
